Magic Madness VR: More Than Just a Quest Release

Earlier this year, we announced that Magic Madness VR is coming to Meta Quest as a free-to-play standalone experience with cross-platform multiplayer and shared progression.

Since then, our development has expanded beyond bringing the game to a new platform.

We're also enhancing the overall player experience, adding new social features and rethinking how players interact with the game.

Here's a look at what's coming.

Introducing the Spellground

Why wait for the next match when there's more to explore?

We've been developing the Spellground, a new social lobby where players will be able to practice their spells, take on parkour challenges and hang out with other Spellcasters between battles.

Our goal is to make the time between matches part of the experience, bringing a new social dimension to Magic Madness VR.

A More Connected Experience

Multiplayer is at the heart of Magic Madness VR, and we're introducing new ways to enjoy the game with friends.

The new social systems, alongside a redesigned lobby experience, will make it easier for players to connect, team up and jump into matches together.

We're also simplifying the journey from launching the game to entering a match by removing unnecessary steps and making navigation more intuitive.

Less time navigating menus. More time playing together.

Rethinking the Spell Selector

The Spell Selector is getting a complete redesign, with a focus on VR comfort and usability.

The updated interface will make it easier to select spells, experiment with different combinations and prepare for battle.

These changes are part of our broader effort to make the game more accessible while maintaining the freedom and fast-paced gameplay that define Magic Madness VR.

One Experience Across Platforms

One of our key goals remains connecting players across PC VR and standalone headsets.

With the upcoming Meta Quest release, Magic Madness VR will support cross-platform multiplayer and shared progression.

That means existing players will be able to continue their journey without starting over.

Your unlocked cosmetics stay with you, your progression carries over, and you'll be able to join the same battles regardless of whether you're playing on Steam or Meta Quest.

We're not simply bringing the game to another platform. We're creating a unified experience for our entire player community.

What's Next?

From the Spellground and redesigned interfaces to new social features and cross-platform connectivity, these developments represent another step forward for Magic Madness VR.

As the Meta Quest release approaches, we look forward to sharing more progress with the Victoria VR community.

Same magic. More ways to play.
